In 2007, AB Sugar, BP and Du Pont, set out on a joint venture to design a biofuel plant for the future. With each organisation being an expert in what they do, we were able to bring that expertise together to form Vivergo Fuels – a business therefore combining the very best bits of our shareholders.

In 2015, AB Sugar acquired BP’s share of Vivergo Fuels, and in 2017 acquired Du Pont’s share of Vivergo Fuels.

AB Sugar offers experience across the agricultural value chain, links to feedstock supply, and co-product expertise.
