Our Community

Our Ambitions

Prior to the plant’s closure in September 2018, we had supported a range of local charity and community groups in a number of different ways. For example, members of our teams have done the Lykewake Walk, cycled the C2C route, completed half marathons, done “it’s a knockout”, completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks, undertaken tree planting projects, volunteered their skills and free time, sold eggs, baked cakes and held social events. To date, Vivergo Fuels has raised and donated in excess of £300,000 in support of local charity and community groups.

We are currently preparing the plant to start producing Bioethanol and animal feed from early 2022 and once the plant is fully operational, we will be looking once again at ways we can support the local community.
