The Vivergo & Smile Partnership
For the past few years, we have been working with the Smile Foundation, a local charity who do an astounding job at supporting smaller charities and helping them to become self-sufficient over time.
The Smile Foundation are currently working with a variety of charities including The Memory Loss Clinic, Downright Special, Special Smiles and Sunshine House, as well as being the providers of Little Devil’s Kitchens across educational establishments throughout Hull and the Smile By The Sea respite initiative.
During our time with The Smile Foundation as our Charity of the Year, we worked with them in a variety of ways including:
- Sponsoring The Hornsea Inshore Rescue Jet Bike
- Providing Staff Members to renovate Sunshine House’s Garden
- Donation of Christmas Charity Raffles to provide Christmas Parties to Sunshine House Hospice and Special Smiles
- Donation of Stationery and Office Supplies
- And more…
Alongside this our employees really got into the sporting spirit and raised money by
- Completing the Hull 10K
- Completing the Humber Bridge Half Marathon
- Completing a Sprint Triathlon
Our Time with The Smile Foundation as our Charity of the Years (2011 – 2014) has been an incredibly memorable experience, and although 2015 will not see them as our nominated charity, we do look forward to continue working with them for a variety of events including the return of the Vivergo Team to the Humber Bridge Half Marathon in 2015.To find out more about the Smile Foundation – visit their website here http://www.heysmilefoundation.org/
